POSITION DESCRIPTION
DUTIES: STAVATTI MILITARY AEROSPACE is seeking candidates to fulfill the position of Senior LO Engineer. Position will include regular assignments to the Military and Unmanned Aerospace divisions of STAVATTI HEAVY INDUSTRIES, LTD. Senior LO Engineers will be responsible for the hands on design, testing, evaluation and optimization of the LO qualities of Military Aircraft including export-controlled, proprietary corporate sponsored initiatives and classified/special access projects under contract. Candidates will be assigned to work on at least two major programs, while contributing to the conceptual design of at least three new vehicle concepts annually. Position will entail regular interaction with entry-level engineers in a quasi mentorship relationship. Senior LO Engineers will report directly to the Chief Designer/Program Manager and CEO of the Military Aerospace organization. Approximately 60% of the work assignment will focus upon engineering/design, with 40% assigned to Research & Development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must have at least 20 years industry experience working Observables engineer including direct participation in the A-12/SR-71, F-117, B-2, F-22, YF-22 or program(s). Must have a Masters Degree or equivalent in an aerospace or physics related field.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D in aerospace engineering or physics. More than 30 years experience in the field of Signature Management including senior experience in active noise cancellation, active RCS reduction and active visual signature reduction. Must enjoy working in isolation/underground.
LOCATION: Organization-wide with offices in Idaho, Minnesota, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, California
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Two to Five business days per month to domestic destinations

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must qualify for or have an active TOP SECRET/COSMIC Clearance
SALARY: Subject to Negotiation
