POTENTIAL END-USERS

The SM-47S Super Machete is a strike and air defense fighter designed to serve as a solution to near-term Allied Air Defense, Continental Air Defense and Dissimilar Combat Training/Aggressor needs. The SM-47S is an appropriate successor to A-4 Skyhawk/Super Skyhawk, F-5 Freedom Fighter/Tiger II and MiG-21 class aircraft. Marketed internationally, the SM-47 can potentially exceed the requirements of over 25 customer nations over the next 20 years. The two seat tandem SM-47T is an advanced supersonic trainer or dedicated dual crew strike fighter.

Marketed to the USANG domestically, the SM-47 may serve as a direct successor to over 500 F-16s responsible for continental air defense and air intercept operations in over 30 fighter wings that operate these aircraft. A flexible, multi-mission aircraft, the SM-47 in its single and two-seat configurations is an appropriate successor and alternative to domestic USANG F-16C/Ds, F-16Ns, F/A-18s in the USN Aggressor Role, as well as F-5, T-38 and A-4 aircraft used internally by US allies.

Principal competitors to the SM-47 will include current production block model F-16s as marketed to the USANG as well as the T-50 Golden Eagle. An aircraft with limited competition, the SM-47 is oriented towards succeeding A-4, F-5 and T-38 class aircraft which have yet to be adequately replaced despite over 40 years of operational history. The SM-47 is also appropriate for the replacement of MiG-21s in service with allied nations such as India.

The Super Machete series will be marketed domestically to DoD service arms including the USAF, USN and USMC. The Super Machete will market internationally to allied Air Forces including the air arms of NATO, ASEAN, and CENTO11 member nations that require COIN aircraft to counter current/circa 2015 and anticipated future insurgent threats. The Super Machete will be sold through Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) or DoD sponsored Foreign Military Sales (FMS). Stavatti Aerospace will provide complete lifetime CLS for all Super Machetes procured. CLS will be provided directly by Stavatti or through qualified, independently contracted Industry Team Members.
