TOMORROW'S OPERATORS

The SM-74 is an innovative regional airliner capable of operating from short fields under 3,000 ft length while providing 100-120 passenger seats at a maximum level speed of 400 kts. Presenting a 2,000 nm cruise range, the SM-74 offers Boeing 737 payload, passenger comfort, and cabin volume with regional airliner operating costs. Offering significantly greater capability than most regional turboprops, the SM-74 is a direct competitor/successor to the ATR 72 series and the Bombardier Q400.

According to the Bombardier Aerospace, Commercial Aircraft Market Forecast 2007-2026, there will be a demand for 11,200 commercial aircraft in the 20-to-149 seat market over the next twenty years, generating approximately $393 billion in total revenue. Including a need for approximately 5,900 commercial aircraft in the 100-to-149 seat category, this particular class of aircraft will provide a foundation for industry
growth permitting new airline business models that rely on new technology aircraft to regenerate commercial air travel.

Considered a “game changing” segment that reduces operating costs while expanding flexibility, this segment represents a future growth area projected to replace 54% of existing 5,400 aircraft in this class to produce a total fleet size of 8,400 aircraft, translating into an overall growth of 55%. According to Bombardier, 46% of all 20-to-149 seat commercial aircraft delivered between 2007 and 2026 will be in the 100-to-149 seat class.

With 100 seats in an all-Business class configuration (36-in pitch) and up to 112 or more seats in an economy/coach arrangement (32-in pitch), the SM-74 with its commercial wide-body feel will provide regional airline operators currently functioning with an overbooked, cramped, high density aircraft fleet a mechanism to dramatically improve customer service while enhancing their flight experience. Presenting a standard ventral cargo holdmand a commercial wide-body feel, the SM-74 will provide seamless integration into both large and small commercial air carrier service. A revolutionary new airliner, Stavatti projects more than 570 SM-74 sales over production life to Fleet Operators which may include Horizon Air Industries, lnc., Executive Airlines, Inc., American Eagle Airlines, Mesaba Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Atlantic Southeast Airlines, Inc., Binter Canarias, S.A., Eurowings Luftverkehrs AG. and many more.
