GENERAL AVIATION AIRCRAFT MODELS X-Plane® compatible Models of Stavatti General Aviation Aircraft are available for immediate complimentary download using links provided on this page. The General Aviation aircraft modeled include private and executive aircraft presently under development by Stavatti Aerospace which are intended for production as FAA FAR 23 type and production certified aircraft. All General Aviation (GA) models have been designed to simulate aircraft performance and flight characteristics within ten percent (10%) of predicted actual production aircraft values. The latest engineering prints and design data has been used to assemble the GA models which were created using the Plane-Maker application. Stavatti GA models incorporate detailed 3-D cockpits and cabins as well as object files detailing aircraft landing gear struts, air inlets, exhaust manifolds and other aircraft elements where appropriate. The 3-D cockpits do provide a generally accurate depiction of cockpit/cabin panel layout, avionics, instrumentation, control systems, interior configuration and basic features. 3-D cockpits due have varying degrees of functionality based upon model release version. Due to the complex nature of modeling fully-functional 3-D cockpits for X-Plane®, a model may not feature a completely functional 3-D cockpit at the time of initial release. Model 2-D panels are based upon 3-D model projections combined with actual anticipated panel layouts. Due to physical size limitations, 2-D panels are modified from their planned true form to facilitate stock X-Plane® interfaces, such as radios and transponders. 2-D X-Plane® instrumentation and control interfaces differ from actual anticipated controls and displays. Where appropriate, 2-D instrumentation, displays and controls are of custom design for a specific model. Due to limitations associated with X-Plane®, certain instruments and displays are not accurately depicted within some GA models. For instance, actual Stavatti GA aircraft will most likely offer Garmin G1000 avionics/display systems as standard equipment. Plane-Maker 8.60 did not support the G1000 system, consequently the modeling of the G1000 system is inaccurate. Stavatti will work diligently to increase the realism associated with all models in future releases and upgrades as our familiarity with X-Plane® increases and as the X-Plane® application itself evolves. Each model is adorned with a selection of custom paint schemes and liveries . All paint schemes are of a purely hypothetical nature. GA models contain detailed 3-D objects (cockpits/cabins, gear struts, etc.) Single engine GA Models are often 10 to 60 Megabits in uncompressed aircraft folder size, while larger twin engine turbine models may be well over 100 Megabits in size. All users are encouraged to have high speed internet access to support the download of all GA model ZIP files as the compressed files are often between 10 and 30 Megabits.
