MILITARY AIRCRAFT MODELS

X-Plane® compatible Models of Stavatti Military Aircraft are available for immediate complimentary download using links provided on this page. These models are of planned production aircraft presently under development by Stavatti Aerospace, as well as concept design studies appropriate for circulation within the X-Plane® community. Military models are designed to simulate aircraft performance and flight characteristics within an estimated margin of ten percent (10%) of anticipated production aircraft values. Actual engineering design data and production prints are used in model creation, however, all models are subject to the limitations of the Plane-Maker application

Detailed 3-D crewstations are included in each model, providing a generally accurate depiction of anticipated cockpit configurations, as well as specific avionic systems. 3-D cockpits have various degrees of functionality based upon model release version. All 2-D panels are based upon 3-D model projections combined with anticipated panel layouts. Due to physical size limitations, 2-D panels are modified from their planned true form to facilitate X-Plane® specific interfaces, such as radios and transponders. 2-D X-Plane® instrumentation and control interfaces differ from actual anticipated controls and displays. Where appropriate, Stavatti Simulation models 2-D instrumentation and controls featuring a number of custom gauges, controls and displays in each model.

Military models feature external hardpoints, weapons selection, and arming and release interfaces as appropriate for the aircraft type, however, the models are not designed, nor intended for, simulation of combat. All combat simulation is dependent wholly upon the X-Plane® application and associated plug-ins. All external stores featured in the models, including ordinance and external pods/launchers/tanks, have been custom modeled by Stavatti Simulation.

Each model is adorned with a selection of custom paint schemes and liveries . All paint schemes are of hypothetical nature and do not imply U.S. DoD service branch or NATO/Allied/other military end-user concurrence, endorsement or support.

All military model files are memory intensive and on the order of 25 to over 150 Megabits in uncompressed file size. All customers are encouraged to have high speed internet access to support the download of Military Model ZIP files as the compressed files are often between 10 and 30 Megabits.
