On Tuesday, September 16th Stavatti CEO Chris Beskar completed the Configuration Design and Layout for the Skytruck SC-100 Twin Turboprop Utility Transport. Designed by a Stavatti tiger-team lead by Chief Engineer Chris Beskar, final Configuration Design information relating to the SC-100 was submitted to the Skytruck Board of Directors for review and approval.
Designed to serve as a 3rd level cargo aircraft for the transport of standardized containers, the SC-100 will be a critical air asset that will satisfy tomorrow’s commercial and military utility transport needs. Capa-ble of transporting payloads of 11,000 lbs over 1,000 nm, the SC-100 is powered by twin 2,300 SHP PW123E turboprops. With a maximum level speed in excess of 340 KTAS at altitude and a stall speed of 69 KTAS, the SC-100 will be able to operate from 1,500 ft long unprepared airstrips.
The SC-100 will be a product of Skytruck, Inc. of New Orleans, Louisiana. Stavatti Aerospace is a member of the Skytruck SC-100 Industry Team with Chris Beskar serving under contract as the Lead Designer and Chief Engineer for the SC-100.
