Stavatti Aerospace – Human Capital Organisation
Viale Generale Disegna, 1 – 17038 Villanova d’Albenga (SV)
INVENTING AEROSPACE
If you have always believed that modern aircraft are not nearly as incredible as they could be, then Stavatti is a place for you. Here is where you invent and build the flying machines which would otherwise remain science fiction. At Stavatti, the mission is to create outstanding aerospace vehicles for military and general aviation. Once designed, developed, qualified and produced to perfection, those aerospace vehicles must be marketed, distributed and supported worldwide. Stavatti requires talented, mature professionals to make this company the leader in aerospace excellence.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Stavatti is looks for professionals with significant levels of experience in the aerospace defense industry, particularly with regard to the fighter business. Those individuals who would be most comfortable working for Stavatti are those who have spent a majority of time working at either Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company-Skunk Works™ in Palmdale, Boeing Phantom Works™ in St. Louis or Seal Beach or any of Northrop’s B-2/ATF houses. Former or current Bell Aerospace, Calspan, Scaled Composites, Dassault or Gulfstream Aerospace employees may also find a good fit working for Stavatti. Stavatti desires to employ individuals with at least 5 to 15 years experience in the field, preferably with an existing security clearance. Prior experience working in a Special Access Environment is extremely beneficial.
That is not to say that we are not looking for individuals from all walks of life. As an aircraft producer, Stavatti finds it helpful if our employees are active certified pilots. Furthermore, former Cessna, Mooney, Raytheon, Beechcraft, Piper, Aviat, Rockwell, Cirrus, Learjet, Saab, MiG and Sukhoi would probably find a delightful work environment. For those unfamiliar with work in aerospace, one needs to expect a very focused, highly technical, concentrated work environment where 60 to 80 hour weeks are not uncommon.
In terms of education requirements, Stavatti generally requires salaried employees to exhibit advanced graduate degrees and a legacy of published papers within their field. It is extremely important that employees are trained to think. Stavatti stresses self-management and creative freedom. All Stavatti employees are expected to be independent and have the ability to make decisions.
As attrition by retirement is a problem for the aerospace community, Stavatti is very interested in employing talent to fill the shoes of retiring experts. Stavatti has particular interest in recent university graduates who have received award and notoriety in both scholarly and AIAA/SAE student activities performance. We like Undergraduate and Graduate aircraft design team winners and those who have an expressed aptitude toward flight and engineering. A Stavatti goal is to pair as many young talented persons with greybeards as possible such that the dwindling stockpile of hard-core aerospace knowledge is not lost forever over coming decades.
EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION
Stavatti actively recruits individuals for specific employment positions. Typically, Stavatti relies upon the recommendations of current executives and employees in selecting future employees. Stavatti also works with local AIAA chapters, technical committees as well as the AIAA national headquarters, in the identification of qualified candidates to satisfy specific positions. SECURITY CLEARANCES
As a manufacturer of defense systems, many Stavatti programs and products are critical to domestic and/or allied national security and defense. These defense systems and their associated development and support programs involve information, data and expertise that must be systematically managed and secured. Facility and Personal Security Clearances are elements of the management and securitization of information, data and expertise associated with DoD and certain NATO/Allied programs and products. As particular programs of Stavatti Aerospace are classified on a system-wide, or on a component level, all personnel involved in those classified programs must maintain a security clearance commensurate or in excess of the security classification associated with the program.
Employment candidates who presently hold an active DoD Security Clearance are desired by Stavatti Aerospace as they may be immediately eligible upon hiring to work on some of our most crucial and exciting aerospace and defense system development and manufacturing programs. Employment candidates who have held an active security clearance within the past 15 years, are also desired as Stavatti Aerospace will sponsor the reactivation of your clearance if your clearance has lapsed as appropriate in support of those programs where your skills and expertise can be of greatest benefit.
As an organization which focuses on paving new ground, Stavatti sites with Facility Security Clearances will sponsor appropriately qualified non-cleared candidates in support of their obtaining their Confidential, Secret or Top Secret Security Clearances. Obtaining a security clearance is a routine part of the employment process associated with leading DoD oriented defense programs. Stavatti is familiar with the processes and requirements associated with the security clearance qualification process and will initiate your application, support you throughout the application and investigatory elements and the entire security clearance process.
Generally speaking, candidates who do not presently posses a security clearance but desire to become eligible to work on programs which require sponsorship to obtain an appropriate security clearance must be qualified U.S. Citizens who meet specific eligibility requirements.

Foreign nationals and resident student aliens who are employed by Stavatti are restricted to working on only non-classified/non-special access aerospace programs unless they are representatives of a NATO allied government or defense partner.
